Jeff and Terry are the most amazing farriers! I can't count the number of things they have helped correct in my herd - should I start with the mare that we were about to have to put down if I couldn't get her feet right? Or the gelding that got diagnosed with EPM and Jeff and Terry came out the very next day to shoe him for balance which completely changed the game in his outcome in a positive way? I have so many more stories to tell about how much they've helped our horses! Or we could talk about the fact that every trim they take time to actually LOOK at the horses hooves and recommend the things they need the most versus just trimming them as fast as they can and not caring how the horse does after. Or the fact that they patiently answer every question this horse owner has and help educate us on our horses hoof health - which as we know - is pretty much everything! Oh, and they are respectful of my time and if they are running late for any reason (which is rare!) they let me know so I am not just waiting all day for them wondering if they are coming! 🙂 Can't imagine using anyone else for our horses!!

Teri and Jeff came out this week to trim my 2 new yearling fillies. Quite honestly, in 25 years of riding and training, I've never met a farrier I cared to spend more than 1 minute around...until now. They are great farriers and great company.

My fillies were fairly reluctant to be trimmed, yet Jeff and Teri were patient with the girls. Teri even had to take a minute to correct one of the girls after she reared. Teri handled the correction quickly and used her obvious knowledge of horsemanship to take charge of the filly.

J & T Farriers will be our farriers from now on. They are a great team (love the husband & wife duo, by the way), friendly, both are excellent horsemen and most importantly, they do quality work.
