I had been experiencing POTS symptoms for a while without proper care. After finally being referred to Dr. Smith for a POTS evaluation, I can say he is one of the most caring doctors out there! He assured me he wouldn’t dismiss my experience or simply call it anxiety and send me away. He listened attentively and explained everything very thoroughly. I definitely recommend him to any POTS patients or those with suspected POTS. He helped me devise a plan that’s really helping my symptoms.

Came to my first appointment after many of my doctors just told me nothing was wrong.
I’m in tears but these are very happy tears.
Dr smith listened to me and talked to me about POTS. If you are having symptoms and your primary doctor doesn’t listen, please see Dr.Smith. Don’t let your symptoms and your feelings be invalid like some of these primary care doctors make it seem. I understand they may be uneducated with POTS, but to make you feel small or crazy is rough.
Dr.Smith is outstanding and will hear you out. He will give you options and get the ball rolling on understanding what’s going on.
Highly recommend!! Please don’t wait any longer! I’m so glad I found this doctor!

Dr Marcus Smith is an excellent cardiologist. He’s extremely knowledgeable, explains the issues and treatment plans in a way you can understand and makes sure all of our questions are answered. Dr. Smith literally saved my life. After blood work, we did a scan to get my calcium score. He then suggested an angiogram because my number was not ideal. He explained it was mostly just to take a look, 75% of the time nothing is needed. Awakened after the procedure and much to our shock and his as well, I had 90-95% blockage (widow maker) and he placed 2 stents. I am 55 years old and had no symptoms and stay active and pretty healthy. The care I received from everyone there was fantastic. I am forever grateful to the staff and Dr. Smith for everything! This is your reminder to get yourself checked no matter how healthy you are.

You’re only as good as your staff.
Dr. Smith seemed proactive, running tests to rule out any underlying problems.
I had to wait several months for an appointment to which they canceled due to the one running the test calling out.
I was supposed to have another appointment that day following the canceled appointment.
I asked if we could reschedule both appointments since I have to travel a considerable distance to get there.
The schedule coordinator said it wouldn’t be a problem, but I would have to wait another month and a half to be seen. (Mind you THEY canceled, yet I have to wait several weeks)
I had no choice but to agreed and we set the appointment.
So After several months, it was finally my appointment and they forgot to schedule the second part of the appointment and said that could not give me a results until I did the appointment they didn’t set.
I explained to them both appointments were to be scheduled back to back and they said that the original coordinator must have misunderstood.
In order to see me again I was gonna have to wait several more months to which I canceled the appointment and told them I would be going elsewhere.

Dr. Marcus Smith is an exceptional doctor. He spends time explaining his diagnosis and answering any questions you may have.
